The Lac des Varennes campsite in the south of Sarthe, in the Loir Valley, is bordered by the left bank of the Loir.

We are delighted to welcome you to the 3-star Lac des Varennes campsite in Marçon. As soon as you arrive at the campsite, we will be there to help and offer advice on places to visit, walks and bike rides, leisure activities and unmissable events in the region.

Practical information

Open from 1 April to 31 October, the Lac des Varennes campsite extends over 9 hectares of wooded greenery in the south of Sarthe, in the Loir Valley, bordering Touraine and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. It's surrounded by the left bank of the Loir on one side and a magnificent 50-hectare lake on the other.

How to get here
The nearest village is Marçon, 800 metres from the campsite. The nearest railway station is 8 km away in Château du Loir.

Our opening hours
We are open from 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 7.30 pm in July and August. From 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 6 pm outside July and August.
